Mark is 31 years old and is married to his beautiful wife Gemma, he has been married for 9 years now. He also has 2 wonderful children, Kieran who is 9 and is already displaying a keen interest in the paranormal and daughter Charlotte who is 6.
Mark has been investigating the paranormal since 1996 when by chance he was invited to spend a night in what is reputedly Britain’s most haunted house. On that night he experienced various paranormal occurrences which wetted his appetite and he has never looked back.
Mark’s interest in the world of ghosts stems back to his childhood. At the age of 6 he could be seen to play with an imaginary friend, not uncommon you might think. Until you consider that this friend was only mentioned at a family friend’s home and Mark gave a very vivid description of a young male. The owner’s inquisitive minds got the better of them and they decided to research the history of their home. Whilst doing this they found records of a young boy whom had been resident of the house 100 years prior and had drowned in a nearby lake. The name of the lad was the very same as Mark claimed he had been playing with.
Paranormal Investigating now seems to have consumed Mark’s life and he spends much of his spare time conducting investigations into some of Britain’s reputedly haunted locations. If he’s not investigating he will be reviewing footage captured from these investigations. Mark is desperately seeking the proof which will convince even the staunchest skeptic that there is a life after death.
During the 8 years Mark has been investigating he has experienced some very interesting phenomena. These include EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomena) of a drawbridge mechanism running; the drawbridge had been removed some 350 years prior to Marks visit. He has also captured a cell door slamming at a disused prison. The area had been locked off and no one else could gain access. As well as capturing occurrences on different forms of media he has also seen some strange sights. Like a Monk praying in a chapel which hasn’t been used for many years, a little boy, which Mark held a 2 minute conversation with before he vanished into the air. He has also seen a man hanging from a clock tower at a former hospital.
Mark also enjoys playing with paranormal gadgets. He has spent much of the family house keeping in an attempt to keep up with the paranormal Jones’s and now has a large equipment list at his disposal.
Besides the paranormal Marks interests include football both watching and playing (he may well be the only Swindon Town fan you'll meet) and computer games.

Mark's first appearance on British screens was in March of 2004. Mark was selected to be one of the paranormal experts on LivingTV's 'I'm Famous and Frightened'.
Forget spiders and snakes - LivingTV brought ghosts and ghouls to the most chilling reality TV show of the year, 'I'm Famous and Frightened!’. Where a group of eight celebrities spent the weekend together in a very haunted castle.
Viewers voted to keep their favorite celebrity in the castle and the winner donated a cash prize to charity. One of the celebrities, Julie Goodyear of Coronation Street, chose Macmillan Cancer Relief as her designated charity. Julie was the eventual winner.
Taking place over a weekend in one of the most haunted houses in Britain, Northumberland's aptly named Chillingham Castle; they experienced torture chambers, dungeons, a haunted forest and much more.
Under the guidance of a resident team of top experts, our Celebes hunted down spirits, searched out spooks and uncovered all manner of unexplained happenings. There have been many paranormal sightings and experiences at Chillingham Castle over the years.
Ghosts include Lady Mary Berkely, whose husband ran off with her sister. Then there's the blue boy, often seen holding the side of a man's coat, plus the dungeon ghost that's even appeared in photographs. Doors fly open of their own accord, a baby crying and adult laughter can be heard and people have been touched and shoved.
The other celebrities are Keith Chegwin (GMTV), Cheryl Baker (Really Useful Show, Bucks Fizz), Terry Nutkins (The Really Wild Show), Toby Anstis (Heart FM), Garry Bushell (Showbiz Journalist), Linsey Dawn McKenzie (Glamour Model) and Linda Robson (Birds of a Feather).
LivingTV recruited a team of top experts to keep a watchful eye on our scared Celebes throughout the weekend who will be at hand to interpret their body language and comment on any paranormal phenomena witnessed.

Mark's next appearance on our screens was on Boxing Day of 2004. This time Mark appeared on ITV1's 'Haunted Homes', again as one of the shows paranormal experts. The show was also re shown in March of 2005.
For the last two years, the Outrams from Birmingham, had been living in terror in what they believed was a haunted home.
To help them discover what's behind the hauntings a group of experts: a psychic, a paranormal investigator and a professor of paranormal psychology,Chris French, were sent in.
They took over the house for 48 hours in an attempt to find out what was going on… and what confronted them was very scary!
At the end of the 48 hours Mia Dolan, the shows psychic, performed a 'clearing'. This is where Mia contacts the spirit, questions it then sends it over.
ITV have decided the show was a success and have commisioned the first, of many we hope, series. Once again Mark will be one of the resident experts on the show.
